Robin is excited to head the Community Outreach Committee for Furever Dog Sanctuary. She has been helping out wherever needed since she met David last year. She has been a lifelong dog owner and lover of all animals. Her strong feelings for canine welfare come from compassion to help innocent animals who are unable to help themselves. She currently owns an English Creme Golden Retriever named Sargent. She trained him herself and he is now a Registered Therapy Dog and a certified K9 Reading Buddy. They go into schools, libraries, nursing homes, and wherever else they are needed. Working with Furever Dog Sanctuary and as a therapy team with her dog, has given Robin, a retired Speech and Language Pathologist, meaning and fulfillment in her retirement.
