- Oversees the planning of fundraisers (auctions, raffles, sponsorships, sales of goods, etc)

- Oversees construction and landscaping plans
- Creates a plan/design for any kennels, indoor play areas and employee housing and coordinates with/oversees any companies necessary for executing the plan.
- Creates a plan/design for any outdoor areas used by the nonprofit and coordinates with/oversees any companies necessary for executing the plan. This includes, but is not limited to roads, fencing, and utilities
- Once construction is complete, oversees maintenance of structures and property used by FHDS (including repairs that need to be completed, snow removal, lawn care, etc)

- Coordinates with vet to ensure all dogs are up to date on their vaccinations and physicals
- Coordinates with trainers to work with dogs with behavioral issues
- Works with vets to make sure that any dogs with medical needs have their needs met
- Ensures that all dogs are microchipped
- Develops Policies and Procedures for what dogs to accept
- Creates and maintains spreadsheet tracking dogs’ medical care
